The reference · 150 rows, all twenty-five books

Every hour the series claims, and where it comes from.

Each book has a Promise Page: the writing it takes off your hands, chapter by chapter, and roughly how long that writing takes you now. This is all 25 of them in one table. It is arithmetic, not a stopwatch — the books say so on the same page as the number, and so does this one.

277.5 hours across the table. Nobody works twenty-five trades; the sum is printed because it is what the page adds up to, not because anyone gets it back.

What this table gets asked

Including the one with no clean answer.

Is the hours figure a measurement?

No, and no book in the series says it is. Each one builds the number from its own chapters — the writing that chapter takes off your hands, and roughly how long that writing takes you now — and then qualifies it on the same page: the first week is slower because you are learning a tool, and the figures are realistic from about week three. Nobody timed a control group. Treat the table as the authors' arithmetic, shown in full so you can disagree with a row.

Why do the trades differ, from 10.5 to 11.5 hours?

Because the paperwork differs. A trade whose customers need constant status updates carries a different weekly load from one whose work is mostly documented after the fact. The rows say which is which: the chapter, the writing, and the hours it stands for.

Does the AI do the job, then?

No. Every row in this table is writing — an estimate, an update, a note, a claim, a post. None of it is the work itself. That distinction is the whole position of the series and it is argued in each book's opening, all of which are free to read on this site.

Can I see where a number comes from?

Yes. Each row names the chapter it comes from, and each book's contents are listed on its own page. The chapter is the argument for the row.

Do the hours add up across books?

They do not, and adding them would be meaningless. Nobody works twenty-five trades. The series total below is the sum of the table, printed because it is the honest arithmetic of the page you are reading, not because anyone gets it back.
